The Prime Minister accuses the Opposition of abandoning small business owners; Federal MP Clive Palmer confirms he won't recontest his seat of Fairfax; Ted Cruz drops out of the Republican race to the White House.

Question time has been dominated by the budget, with the prime minister accusing the opposition of abandoning small business owners.

The government wants to expand the definition of small business so tax cuts are available to companies with up to ten million dollars in annual turnover.

The opposition won't support the new threshold and Malcolm Turnbull says that's a disgrace.

Clive Palmer has left open the option of running for the senate...having ruled out recontesting his sunshine coast seat of Fairfax.

The federal MP says his party has made a difference in Australian politics and will focus on the upper house.

Mr Palmer says he'll talk to his wife before deciding whether to join the Queensland senate ticket.

The path has cleared for Donald Trump to seize the U.S. republican presidential nomination... after his rival, Ted Cruz, suspended his white house campaign.

Mr Cruz made the announcement after losing the Indiana primary.

Mr Trump, meanwhile, wasted no time turning his attention to his democrat rivals... saying Hilary Clinton would be a poor president.

在竞争对手泰德·克鲁兹宣布退出之后，共和党人唐纳德·特朗普的美国总统候选人提名之路已经扫清障碍。

印第安纳州初选失利后克鲁兹先生宣布了这一消息。
