There are more people alive now,

现在全世界活着的人

than have died in all of human history.

比史上所有死去的人还要多

But the number of dead people is increasing.

而人们还在不断死去

One day, there isn't going to be any room to bury anyone anymore.

总有一天 再没有土地可以用来埋葬死人

So, what about skyscrapers for dead people that were built down?

那么在地底建起摩天坟墓 怎么样呢

They could be underneath the skyscrapers,

把坟墓建在摩天大楼底下

for living people that are built up.

建在活人脚下

You could bury people 100 floors down,

把人葬在一百层的地下

and a whole dead world could be underneath the living one.

What if you could ride an elevator,
