It's about -20 now and we are expecting temperatures of -30 or even lower tonight.

It's this that makes the Harbin ice festival famous the world over

and brings in visitors from all over China.

China is also becoming a popular destination for international tourists,

especially from South Korea, Japan, the US and Russia.

In fact, in 2014, it was the fourth most visited country in the world.

This increase in tourism has meant that the festival designers

This year, they've really gone to town with this magnificent fairy tale castle.

It is the biggest ice sculpture that has ever been attempted here at Harbin.

standing proud in the sky, and it's lit up by over 1 million lights.
