Lesson 8 Key Conversation Check, Please

George: I'm stuffed. I can't eat another bite. Should we just get the check and go?

Waiter: How was everything tonight, sir? Can I bring you anything else?

George: Everything was just great, thanks.

Waiter: Would either of you like tea or coffee?

George: Not for me, thank you. Could we just get the check, please?

Waiter: One moment, sir...Here you are. I can take care of that for you whenever you're ready.

George: Here is my credit card. That should settle things up.

Waiter: Thank you, sir. I'll be right back with your bill to sign.

George: Thank you.

乔治：我吃饱了。我一口也吃不下了。我们是不是应该结账走人？

服务员：先生，今晚一切都好吗？我能给你带点别的吗？

乔治：一切都很好，谢谢。

服务员：你们两位要喝茶还是咖啡？

乔治：不适合我，谢谢。我们能拿账单吗？

服务员：等一下，先生。。。给你只要你准备好了，我可以帮你处理。

乔治：这是我的信用卡。这应该能解决问题。

服务员：谢谢，先生。我马上拿着你的账单回来签字。

乔治：谢谢。
