CGTN releases Winter Olympics-themed tune 'Embrace'

CGTN's "Music Voyage" production themed on the Winter Olympics has been released after a month-long collaboration among four musicians in a relay format.

Musicians Asr and Mico Liu Wei from China, Doctor Victor from Iceland and Carlo Facchini from Italy were each given seven days to compose a one-minute piece that reflected their musical tastes and understanding about winter sports and the Beijing Winter Olympics.

The four musical tracks were then masterfully fused to form a work titled "Embrace."

Telescope study published in scientific journal

A Chinese study related to magnetic fields has been published in scientific journal Nature.

The study was achieved with the use of a high-performance telescope known as the "China Sky Eye."

Located in Guizhou Province, the telescope started formal operation in January 2020 and officially opened to the world at the end of March last year.
