Dialogue 1 A:Is the seat taken?

B:No,please ,sit down.Are you new around here?

A:Yes,i just started in the office yesterday.Today's my second day on the job.

B:Well,congratulations,I'm TED.I work in the accounting,what about you?

A:It's nice to meet you,TED,I'm NANCY.I'M the new Adminstrative of Assistant in the sales department.

B:So,are you from around here?

A:Kinda,originally,i'm from Chicago,but i have left here in New York for several years already,so it kinda counts at home,what about yourself?

B:Born and ?right here in New York,as native as they come.Can you tell by my accent?

A:Yeah,i guess that should tip me off.

Dialogue 2 A:It's great to see you again,how are the kids and family?

B:Oh,they are fine,thanks for asking,my son just graduated from high school last month,my daughter is the second year of junior high.

A:Wow,are they that a big already?your son 's probably preparing for college then,he knows where is going?

B:Well.you know,how kids are!even if they do have plans ,sometimes parents are the last hero about them ,hey,it's really good to see you too,last time,we talked,you were doing a lot business in Shanghai,still spending a lot of time on the road?

A:No,not is much,since our merge project finished up last year,i haven't had to go out there as much .It's been nice to be home.

B:I'll bet,so was that have to go on a travail all the time anymore?what you've been doing with yourself lately?

A:You know,the usual,work work more work

B:Careful now,all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

A:Yes,that's what they say.
