3. A federal jury found the so-called DC madam guilty of running a high-end prostitution ring. Deborah Palfrey said her now-defunct business was an "erotic fantasy service". Louisiana Senator David Witer was linked to the case, but the republican did not testify.

4. It’s down to the wire for tax filers. Today is the deadline to get those 1040s in, and many are rushing to get through the paperwork. There is extra incentive this year to get everything in on time because the federal stimulus relief is tied to this year’s returns.
