Helen: And I'm Helen. Neil: Today we're going to look at words and phrases that have recently become part of the English language. Helen: Neil, 我们今天的新词是什么呢? Neil: Today's word is frag – F.R.A.G. – frag. Helen: Frag. Frag 是个什么东西? Neil: Well, frag is an expression from computer games. It means to kill your opponent. Helen: 这是一个电子游戏中特有的英语词,就是在游戏中杀伤对手的意思。 Neil: Yes, you might say, "I got to level 14 in Doom, but I kept getting fragged." Helen: 就是说你在游戏中总被对方杀死。 Neil: That's right. Fragged means killed when playing a computer game.

Neil: I sometimes play with my brother, but he's much better than me and always frags me! Helen: Really? Neil: Yes. Last time we played a game called Quake. You have to go around shooting the other players. He fragged me 12 times and I didn't frag him once! Helen: Oh dear! Neil: Yes – I'm not very good at computer games.
