2.The horse racing world is reeling after yesterday's second-place filly in the Kentucky Derby was put down just after the race. Officials say "Eight Belles" suffered fractures in both front ankles and was euthanized. 

3.Authorities have charged one suspect and are searching for a second in the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia police officer after a bank robbery. The officer was fatally shot with an assault rifle yesterday morning while responding to the robbery in northeast Philadelphia.

4.Democrats are getting in some last-minute campaigning before their next major match-up on Tuesday when voters in Indiana and North Carolina hit the polls. Barack Obama criticized Hillary Clinton for saying the US would obliterate Iran if it were to attack Israel. Obama says that's not the language we need right now.
