There has been another deadly explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. 4 Lebanese bystanders were killed. U.S. and Lebanese officials say the target was a US embassy vehicle. The 2 people in the car weren't seriously hurt. Lebanon has been hit by a series of explosions in recent months, most of them targeting political figures.

President Bush says high gas prices hurt American families, so he's calling on the country with the world's biggest oil supply to do something about it. Mr. Bush is spending his 2nd day in Saudi Arabia. He met with Saudi entrepreneurs, and he appealed to OPEC nations to put more oil on the world market. Saudi Arabia's oil minister said he would raise output only when the markets justify it.

Billboards with the picture of a wanted marine are up today. He is the suspect in the grisly killing of a pregnant marine. The FBI says the first billboards of Marine Corporal Cesar Lauren will be in Columbus, Ohio, Tampa and Las Vegas. Lauren is accused of killing Marine Corporal Maria Laterbach. She had accused him of rape when was getting ready to testify against him. Authorities recovered what they have now confirmed all her remains in Lauren's backyard during the weekend.

The FDA has cleared the way for cloned meat that includes cows, pigs and goats. Their final report says the meat poses no specific health risks.The FDA isn't expected to require special labeling for cloned meat sold in stores, but may allow other producers to label their meat as 'natural'. Don't expect to see the cloned meat immediately, hitting the store shelves right now. Cloned animals are just too valuable to slaughter.

The current TV season could be over finished. The L.A. Times reports 4 major studios have canceled dozens of writers' contracts because of the ongoing strike. This could also halt the development of next season's new shows. The Times says, 20th Century Fox, CBS Paramount, NBC Universal and Warner Brothers have confirmed the firings.
