[00:00.00]Sow the Seed—See the Harvest 播下种子,期盼收获 [00:06.62]The story is told of two boys who were walking through a field [00:12.53]and found some corn seeds scattered across the ground. [00:16.24]They each took one of the seeds home and planted it. [00:19.95]When the first boy didn’t see a tiny sprout after the second day, [00:25.53]he dug up the seed to see if it had sprouted. [00:29.02]Each day he dug up the seed and replanted it, [00:34.08]but the corn would not grow. [00:35.81]The seed had germinated; [00:38.12]yet the boy had not allowed it to maintain contact with the soil, [00:42.27]take root, and obtain nutrients. [00:45.32]So, it died. [00:47.19]The second boy planted his seed and left it alone. [00:51.78]He imagined a tall stalk of corn [00:55.27]where he had planted the seed. [00:57.39]He waited patiently as rains came [01:01.43]and sunshine bathed the ground with warmth. [01:04.07]In ten days, a small sprout had broken through the ground, [01:08.96]its curled leaves reaching toward the sky. [01:12.04]Achieving any desire, [01:14.24]whether large or small, [01:15.86]begins with a seed sown in the mind. [01:19.68]That seed is the vision of its fulfillment. [01:23.20]It also requires the commitment to allow the vision to grow. [01:28.23]Commitment in daily life allows life’s storms to strengthen resolve. [01:34.14]Resolve allows us to nurture a new dream, [01:37.75]improve an existing dream, [01:40.13]or even begin over if necessary. [01:43.11]How often do we plant the seed of a beautiful dream [01:47.04]in the fertile soil of our minds, [01:49.46]and then dig it up? [01:51.08]What could you achieve if you allowed your seed to grow, [01:55.14]continuing to focus your spiritual eyes on the harvest? [01:59.19]Just sow your seed, [02:01.25]allow it to grow, [02:02.79]and see an abundant harvest. |
