1. The president's chief economic adviser calls the tens of millions of dollars in new bonuses paid out by AIG "outrageous". An anti-government protest in Pakistan that initially turned violent has become a jubilant show of force against the country's pro-Western president. Opposition leader Nawaz Sharif calls it "a prelude to a revolution". He made it to the rally by defying an order for his house arrest. 3. Police in Miami say a man shot four people to death at a family gathering early Sunday then went home and killed himself. Authorities say the man may have been upset because his wife had left him. 4. Three people were arrested and six others hurt after a bedlam broke out while they waited to audition for "America's Next Top Model". Police don't know what prompted the chaos involving hundreds of people outside the Park Central New York Hotel in Manhattan. |
