And at the scene, officials reportedly found a journal believed to be Morgan's, which had an entry saying "kill Johanna. She must die".

3. Pakistan's army is vowing to eliminate militants from a northwestern valley, but warns that its under-equipped troops face thousands of Taliban extremists in the region. The offensive has drawn praise from the US.
