1.President Barack Obama says some of those suspected of terrorism held at Guantanamo will end up in prisons in the United States. There is fierce opposition in Congress, but Obama says US prisons are tough enough to house dangerous inmates.

2.Suspects accused of trying to carry out a bomb plot against New York synagogues appeared in court. The four arrested after planting what they thought were real bombs. A prosecutor said the men were disappointed the World Trade Center wasn't still around to attack.

3.Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick is back home in Virginia after a long drive from a federal prison in Kansas. He will now serve two months of home confinement, part of a sentence for a dogfighting conspiracy.

4.In new Zealand, the search is on for a couple at the center of a bank mistake. 6.1 million dollars lended into their account, the bank's error. Now some of the money is gone, their gas station closed, the couple nowhere to be found.
