[00:15.40]Greenhouse gases come from cars and factories.
[00:20.43]The gases keep the heat from the sun
[00:23.10]on the earth.
[00:24.90]The gases are like a blanket around the earth.
[00:28.85]They let the heat of the sun come in,
[00:31.88]but they stop some of the heat from leaving.
[00:35.33]So, they increase the temperature of the earth.
[00:39.74]Scientist believe that by 2030,
[00:44.60]temperatures around the world will rise
[00:47.60]by about 1.8 C.
[00:51.31]In hot countries in Africa and India,
[00:55.53]life will become very difficult,
[00:58.33]because the temperatures will be very high.

[01:12.53]and animals to live on and grow food.
