President Barack Obama is looking for global help in his goal of ensuring all nuclear materials worldwide within four years. The president considers nuclear weapons in terrorist hands to be the single biggest threat to US security.

2. A team of federal investigators arrives today at the scene of West Virginia's mining disaster, a week to the day after an explosion killed 29. Authorities have said that high levels of volatile methane gas may have played a role in the disaster.

3. Russian investigators say readings from flight recorders indicate that there were no technical problems with the Polish president’s Soviet-made plane that crashed, killing him and 95 others. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday the pilot was warned of bad weather over the airport in western Russia.

4. Masters week started with Tiger Woods in the spotlight. It ended with Phil Mickelson in the spotlight. Lefty won his third Masters title yesterday, shooting a 5 under bar 67 to beat Lee Westwood by three shots. It was Mickelson's first major title since his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Tiger Woods finished in the tie for fourth, five shots behind Mickelson.
