"Honey, I think it's time that we start talking about our divorce."

Hot on the heels of No Country For Old Men and Burn After Reading, Oscar winning siblings Joel and Ethan Coen return to the Toronto Film Festival with a comic drama A Serious Man, about a Minnesota man's absurd quest for respect.

"What you're saying is that you were a psychic spy." "A Jedi warrior."

Toronto regular George Clooney will be hitting the red carpet for at least three films while at north, including the paranormal military tale The Man Who Stare At Goats; Paramount frequent-flyer dramedy Up In The Air; and the Matt Damon vehicle The Informant, which Clooney produces.

"So, What are you in, alternative now? Alternative to what?"

Drew Barrymore makes her directorial debut in the all female Roller Derby flick Whip It. The film also stars Barrymore as well as Juliette Lewis, Eve, and Juno's Ellen Page. Speaking of Juno, the film's Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is back in Toronto as well, this time with a new horror film Jennifer's Body, starring sexy Transformers' heroine Megan Fox.

"My name is Clareece 'Precious' Jones. I wanna be on the cover of a magazine."

On the serious side, the fest ten-day run includes the Oprah Winfrey produced Precious about an abused Harlem teenager who beats the odds; and a number of documentaries including the government leak story, The Most Dangerous Man In America: Daniel Ellsberg And The Pentagon Papers; also, a look at the lives of the soldiers after the war in How To Fold A Flag; and the premiere of Michael Moor's latest tell-all offering Capitalism: A Love Story. The 34th annual Toronto Film Festival runs September 10th through the 19th.
