Ever heard of a bullet-proof BlackBerry? The smartphone is usually used to make a phone call,check e-mail or do some social networking. But this BlackBerry Curve, literally stopped the bullet. I checked,there's no ad for that.

You can see a picture of where the BlackBerry acted like cavalier or bullet-proof vest. A bullet hole in the victim's jeans makes for a heart-stopping visual.

Capt. Carl Bush says Anthony Holtvog's gun misfired at this Fricker's on Miller Lane. Capt. Bush says Holtvog was putting on his jacket when the shot fired.

"While he was adjusting his jacket, he noticed that the slide was back on the gun and then hit fire. He said that his hand wasn't anywhere near the trigger or anything."

Bush says Holtvog has a CCW permit for the gun and also says he's lucky the bullet didn't strike other customers.

"Fricker's was pretty busy and you had the potential for other people in the establishment from getting hurt and hurt seriously."
