听歌学英语:MEMORY

回忆》是1981年Andrew Lloyd Webber的音乐剧作品《猫》中的一首演出曲目。由剧中的Grizabella，一只曾经风光一时的猫演唱。这首歌充满了她对自己过去辉煌的回忆，也表达了她希望开始新生活的愿望。歌曲在第一幕剧中只出现片段，在快剧终时被完整地演唱。《回忆》是整个音乐剧的高潮，并且是目前此剧最受人欢迎和为人所知的曲目。

1.Midnight, not a sound from the pavement.午夜，路上寂静无声。
Here the complete sentence should be ‘Midnight, there isn't a sound from the pavement’.pavement refers to a hard-surfaced path for pedestrians⁴ alongside and a little higher than a road. The US and Canadian word for this is ‘sidewalk’.
