Jenny's Birthday!

Guess what?
Today is Jenny's birthday.

How does she feel?

Jenny says, "I am very happy.
I am ten years old today.
I will have a birthday party tonight."
珍妮说，“我很高兴。
我今天十岁了。
今晚我要开个生日晚会。”
In the evening, Jenny's grandmother and grandfather, mother and father,
sister and brother come to her birthday party.
到了晚上，珍妮的奶奶和爷爷，妈妈和爸爸，
妹妹和哥哥来参加她的生日晚会。
They give her birthday presents.

Jenny's grandmother and grandfather give her a blue dress.

Her mother and father give her a big birthday cake with ten candles.

Her sister and brother give her a brown teddy bear.

"Thank you!" Jenny says.

Jenny's friends Li Ming and Danny also come.

"Happy birthday to you, Jenny!"
Li Ming says,
”祝你生日快乐，珍妮！“
李明说，
"Here is a birthday present for you."
“这是我给你的生日礼物。”
"Thanks, Li Ming." says Jenny.
“谢谢你，李明。”珍妮说。
She opens her present and says,
"Wow! A doll. How beautiful! Thank you."
她打开她的生日礼物说道，
“哇！洋娃娃。真漂亮！谢谢。”
"Happy birthday, Jenny!"
Danny says,
”生日快乐，珍妮！“
丹尼说，
"Look! I have donuts³ for you.
Hmm⁴... I am hungry, Jenny."
“瞧！给你带了油炸圈饼。
嗯……我饿了，珍妮。”
Jenny says, "Okay⁵. You can have one now."
珍妮说，“好。你现在可以吃一个。”
"May I have another one, Jenny?"
asks Danny.
“我可以再吃一个吗？”
丹尼问。
"Sure," says Jenny.
”可以，“珍妮说。
"I am thirsty now, Jenny.
May I have some pop⁶?"
asks Danny.
“我现在渴了，珍妮。
我可以喝些汽水吗？”
丹尼问。
"Sure," says Jenny.
“当然可以，”珍妮说。
Jenny's grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, sister, brother, Li Ming and Danny are sitting at the table.
珍妮的奶奶，爷爷，妈妈，爸爸，妹妹，哥哥，李明和丹尼坐在桌子前。
They are talking.
他们说话。
They're laughing.
他们笑。
They're singing the birthday song.

Now, what is Danny doing?

He is looking at the big cake.

"When is your birthday, Li Ming?" asks Danny,

"I want to go to a birthday party every day!"
