Lesson 17 My Hometown

　　My hometown¹ is not very modern², but it'sbeautiful. There is a big park in the center³ ofmy hometown. There is also a swimmingpool there. It is next to the park. My school isacross from the swimming pool⁴. They are allnear my home. In fact⁵, there is no place likemy hometown.

我的家乡不很现代化，但它却很美。家乡的中心位置有一座大公园。那儿也有一座游泳池。它紧邻公园。我的学校就在游泳池的对面。它们离我家都很近。事实上，没有一个地方像我的家乡一样。
