A Nigerian school girl who managed to escape from militant³ kidnappers⁴ has spoken about the night more than 200 school girls were abducted⁵. The girl has told CNN she and two friends fled into the bush when the militants⁶ arrived at the school.

Rigby League great Reg Gasnier has died after a long illness. The six-time premiership died last night one day short of his 75th birthday. Known as the prince of centers, Gasnier played 39 test for Australia and was chosen as one of the immortal⁸ of the game at the 1985.
