 The fate of around 200 Tamil asylum¹ seekers remains² mystery as the Federal government continues its silence on the whereabouts. The vessel³ is believed to have been intercepted⁴ by Australian border protection forces in the Indian Ocean and handed to Sri Lanka's navy. Senator Era Cobit has told the ABC that details would be revealed in June 4th.

One man died in the crash when the aircraft plunged⁵ into the ocean shortly after leaving Moruya Airport around midday. The operation will resume at the first light tomorrow.
