President Xi extends Spring Festival greetings to all Chinese

The Chinese president has extended Spring Festival greetings to all Chinese at a reception in Beijing.

Xi Jinping delivered a speech at the gathering¹ at the Great Hall of the People, greeting Chinese people of all ethnic² groups, compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and overseas Chinese.

This year's Spring Festival, or the Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on February 1.

习近平主席向全体中国人致以春节问候

中国总统在北京的招待会上向所有中国人致以春节问候。

习近平在人民大会堂集会上致辞，向各族人民、港澳台同胞、侨胞致意。

Wang Yi: China will continue to safeguard world peace, prosperity

The Chinese foreign minister has said that the country will join hands with "all countries that love peace and uphold justice" to make new contributions to safeguarding world peace and prosperity this year.

Wang Yi made the remarks in a Chinese Lunar New Year message to diplomatic corps³ in Beijing.

The diplomats⁴ underscored China's contributions to the world last year in terms of fighting the pandemic, promoting economic recovery, and defending international fairness and justice.

Wang said China will continue to contribute to the global fight against COVID-19 and support other developing countries in closing the immunization gap.

中国外长表示，中国将与“热爱和平、维护正义的所有国家”携手共进，为今年维护世界和平与繁荣作出新贡献。

王毅在中国农历新年致辞中对驻京外交使团发表了上述讲话。
