Welcome to the podcast, President Obama politics, the big problem on the border, let's get started.Tonight in Austin Texas, after an airport meeting that almost did not happen because of politics, the President met with Texas Governor Rick Perry. He called the meeting constructive1 says he's interested in solving the problem not???. He expressed plenty of frustrations2 whoever the politics surrounding this, the lawmakers who he believes fairly are not have been put politics first. He also declare warning for anyone thinking of sending their kids to North. Well, we intend to do the right thing by these children. Their parents need to know that this is an incredible dangerous situation, and it is unlikely that their children will be able to stay. And I ask parents across Central America not to put their children in harms way in this fashion. Right now there are more border patrol agencies and surveillance resources on the ground than anytime in our history. And we deport3 almost 400,000 migrants each year. But as soon as it became cleared that this year's migrations4 to the borer was different than in the past year, I ??? to coordinate5 our responses to the border, members of my cabinet, my staff, made multiple trips to facilities there. And we were also addressing the root of the problem, I send Vice6 Prsident Biden, Secretary Carry and Secretary Johnson to meet with Central America leaders as well working with international partners to go after smugglers who are putting the kid's life in risks. The challenge is Congress prepared to act to put the resources in place to get this done. Another way of putting it, I said this directly to the governors focused more interests in the politics than more interests in solving the problem, if they are interested in solving the problem then this could be solved and if the preference was for politics then this wouldn't be solved. That's not all he said nor all it's been said about what he said.

??
so the President has pretty strong words, we just ?? some of them for congress especially how's republicans. right, he also said it's time for them to rediscover negotiation7 and compromise and it's not really compromising when you wouldn't give on certain topics. The President even throw out compromise of his own, he said that Governor Rick Parry and others are asking for National Guard troops immediately to be escationed to the border and help the process of helping8 the children, and the President has done that yet but he said Ok well, I could do that if you guys will agree to pass the supplemental request for nearly 4 billion dollars, Handerson.
It seems the President talked a lot about of his officials visiting the border many times, the President himself not visiting the border that's drawn9 a lot of attention even his own party calling for him to go down there. He was asked about during the press conference, I wanna play his response.
This isn't there , this is a problem, I'm not interested in photo ups. I'm interested in solve this.
I mean that you could say those are not just photo ups that it could make a strong statement on the border.
This has been a weird10 situation from whatever angle you looked at it. It almost get to the point that now you think well if the President does go down to the border after this daily pressure from Republicans and even some Democrats11, then it looks like he is just bowing to the pressure. It might also be, according to some analysts12,  maybe he doesn't want this to look like as a big problem as it is. But if he calls that a photo up and theater, when he goes to visit the victims of tornado13 or ???, is he saying that's just a photo up and just theater. So the White House is aware it doesn't look good even to many Democrats but are they gonna go down there. we don't know at this point.
To the point of the immigration reform the supplemental bill what the President was pushing today. Partisan14 politics are very real issues obvious in ?? the President addresses that as well today. I wanna play that.
I think it's fair to say these days in Washington everybody has always concerned about everything falling victim to partisan politics. You know, if I sponsor to build, declaring an apple pie American it might fall victim to partisan politics. I get that.
