C: No, only a blagger wouldsubmit his wife to that. Mrs Satterthwaite established herselfat a German spa so that it may be said that Sylvia hasgone abroad to nurse her. The mother's a bitch but asensible one.

Someone: The motor-plough didn't serve.  

C: It’s all coming.
