Pauline: You don't know him like we do.

Pauline: What you don't know, Denise, is that a couple of months ago he left a girl crying. What do you think of that?

Denise: Shh! Not so loud, Pauline. Why was she crying ?

Pauline: Why do you think? Hands like snakes. I think he did it. I think he went to that house and he did it.

Clara: I heard that you were walking out with Sam the other night, Denise.

Denise: Not walking out. Not like that.

Pauline: Be careful, Denise. Sam can be all cheek² and fun and jokes, but in the end I know what he is, a boy.
