Hi there, I'm Hayley from the BBC World News for Children.
Scandal in Indian cricket.
World leading scientist says aliens probably exist.
And canine1 courage in the States!
The head of the world's richest cricket league - the Indian Premier2 League - has been forced to leave his job. Lalit Modi has been asked to stand down after he was accused of behaving dishonestly and breaking rules. The Indian cricket board says that Mr Modi had given the league a bad name - but the scandal hasn't put this local cricket fan off
CLIP: " This game is more popular than these kinds of scandals. So we will have this kind of tournament becoming more and more popular with the years to come."
Next - there are fears of an environmental disaster off the coast of America after efforts to clean up an oil slick have been slowed down by bad weather. Around 1,000 barrels of oil a day are leaking into the sea from an oil rig that exploded last week. But even though bad weather makes it harder to clean up the oil - Greenpeace's Paul Horseman says it can also help break the oil up......
CLIP: "Choppy waves actually do help to break up the oil, and that aids in the eventual3 degradation4 of the oil once it's in the environment. But there's no doubt about it, that if oil does continue to keep leaking, it presents an ongoing5 and increasing threat."
Now one of the world's top scientists - Stephen Hawking6 - says aliens almost certainly exist. But he's not keen on making contact with them - the world famous astrophysicist reckons that aliens are likely to take what they want from earth, then move on. His advice - to do everything possible to avoid contact with any potential extra terrestrial neighbours.
Footy now - In the English Premier League Chelsea are back on top. It follows their 7-0 win over Stoke, including a hatrick from Salomon Kalou ......
CLIP: "Kalou going forward, could score a hatrick, saved by the goalkeeper, but then it's put in second time round."
But it's a close race - the blues7 are just one point ahead of Manchester United now - with two matches left to play. And In Scotland, Rangers8 retained their Scottish Premier League title, with a victory over Hibernian.
In other sports news - Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede snatched a London marathon win from the title holder9 - Kenyan Emmanuel Mutai. Here he is crossing the finish line.........
CLIP: "Today it all belongs to him - It's a super fast time - he's going to be just outside the course record. Kebede of Ethiopia, striding through to the finish, to win this year's London marathon - a superb run."
And finally to the story of a German Shepherd that's been hailed as a hero after he saved his owner from a fire. Ben Heinrichs was doing some work on his truck when a spark hit some gasoline and ignited, setting his clothes on fire. He ran outside to put out the flames by rolling in the snow. But in the mean time - his dog ran off to look for help. The pooch found the police at a cross roads and guided them to his owners workshop. They helped put the fire out and Ben escaped with just minor10 burns.
