　　A:Nowadays fewer and fewer people go to the movie theaters to see films. So I am afraid that the film studios¹ are really getting hard time to survive.

　　A:如今去电影院看电影的人越来越少了，恐怕那些电影制片厂真的难以维系了。

　　B:What you said is true. But the film producers there are more flexible² ways to get more audience. For example, to make more movie VCDs, so people will spend money buying them.

　　B:休说的是实情。但是电影制片人也发现有更灵活的途径来赢得观众。例如，制造更多的电影VCD光碟，这样人们会花钱去买碟片。

　　A:But it is true that cinemas are losing the a attraction³ they used to have in the past.

　　A:但事实是电影院正在失去它以往曾具有的吸引力。

　　B:Yes. Take myself for example. I seldom go to cinemas, but it doesn't mean I no longer see films; instead, I see films at home: watching VCDs.

　　B:是啊。就拿我自己来说吧。我现在也很少去电影院了，但这并不意味着我就不看电影了，我只不过是在家里看电影，看的是VCD光碟而已。
