 Some of you may be talking about how you worked on the campaign that elected our first woman president.

The schools you work in that are erasing² the achievement gap that has existed for far too long between different racial and ethnic³ groups in our country.

1 initiatives   

n.主动性( initiative的名词复数 )；主动的行动；初步；主动权

2 erasing
