We didn't make a lot of money,but we did well enough.

We had to do without a lot of things,like a TV.

1 homesick   

adj.想家的；患思乡病的

2 pitched   

adj.（屋顶）有坡度的v.投( pitch的过去式和过去分词 )；用沥青涂；排列；把…定于特定角度
