 "I lay my head down and I pull up the covers," so I am warm, and because I'm such a great husband, I kiss "my wife goodnight." “我躺了下来然后盖上被子，”因此我身子是温暖的，因为我是模范丈夫，所以我亲了一下“妻子并道了晚安”。

To kiss someone goodnight means¹ to kiss them and, in a sense², to say goodnight to them. “To kiss someone goodnight”的意思是亲吻他们，从某种意义上来说，就是跟他们道晚安。

"Some nights I have trouble falling asleep." “有些晚上，我会难以入眠。”

To fall, "fall," asleep, "asleep," means to go to sleep — to start sleeping. “To fall asleep”的意思是“入睡”——开始睡觉。

Sometimes "I have trouble falling asleep, but tonight, I didn't need to count any sheep." 有时“我会难以入眠，但今晚，我却不用数羊了。”

The expression³ to count sheep, "sheep," is used⁴ because we traditionally⁵ when we are trying to fall asleep, 使用“to count sheep”这个表达是因为传统上当我们努力想要睡着的时候，
