Juanita: Mommy? Why are you crying?

Gaby: Oh, just...having a sad day.

Juanita: You've been having a lot of sad days. Is it because Grace¹ left?

Gaby: Why would you say that?

Juanita: That was when you started being² sad the day she went away.

Gaby: No, it's just, you know...I got really close to that whole family, and...I knew I was gonna miss Carmen and Hector.

Juanita: And Grace?

Gaby: Why are you wearing my necklace?

Juanita: I am playing dress-up.

Gaby: Not with real diamonds³. Hand it over!

Juanita: Fine, here. Take it.

Juanita: I liked you better when you were crying.
