Now, David, it’s your turn. When did you meet Rose?
Nearly three and half years ago.
OK. Second question: Where and how did you first meet?
Well, I went into hospital for an operation¹ and Rose was working there as a nurse.
What time of the day was it?
I don’t know. Lunch time.
What was the weather like?
Oh, dear! It was summer. So I suppose the sun was shinning.
What were you both wearing when you saw one another for the first time?
Rose was wearing her nurse's uniform and she was also wearing lovely perfume². I was wearing my favorite green pajamas³ .
Finally, David, who spoke⁴ first and what did they say?
Rose spoke first, she said, “How are you feeling?”, and I think I said, “I feel terrible.”
