(单词翻译:双击或拖选)
Where would1 we be without language2? We’d all be in our own3 worlds and we’d never really have a life4. Can you imagine5 never talking to anyone6? Of course7 if there was8 no language, we wouldn’t be able9 to use body language or sign language. The fact10 that we do have languages11 means12 we have gone to the moon and built13 things like the Internet14 – which also needs a special computer language to work properly15. I think language is amazing16. It means we can tell anyone anything. I often think it’s a shame17 there are so many languages in the world. If there was only one language, we could18 all communicate19 better. Perhaps20 that way, we’d all understand one another better. What would the world language be? At the moment, English.
