Veterans Day Celebrations are underway across the US. Vice¹ President Dick Cheney attended the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery² where he commended the military for making their country proud.

A massive weekend search has turned up no sign of a missing Illinois woman. Stacy Peterson has been missing for two weeks. Authorities say her husband is a suspect in her disappearance³.

Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf says elections will be held in his country in January. However Musharraf would not say when he will lift the state of emergency he implemented⁴ a week ago.
