1. There are reports Poland and France plan to jointly¹ push for film maker² Roman Polanski's release from detention³. Polish news agency PAP also says the two countries will ask the US to offer clemency⁴. Polanski was arrested Saturday over charges he had sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.
