1. U.S Attorney general Jeff Sessions has accused him from any investigation1 for Russian interference in last year's presidential election. This follows revelations that he met with Russia's U.S ambassador, and didn't say so in his confirmation2 hearing.
2. The Indianapolis Star reports vice3 president Mike Pence used his personal email account to conduct public business , when he was governor of Indiana. Some of those emails exchanged with advisers4 discuss only in the security matters.
3. Thursday saw new adds to president Trump's cabinet. Former Texas governor Rick Perry was sworn in as energy secretary, and Ben Carson was the new Housing and Urban development.
4. And strong winds with the gusts5 topping 50-miles an hour lashed6 much of New England, bringing down trees and knocking down power for thousands of homes and businesses.
