Details remain unclear in what led to a Minnesota police officer fatally shooting an Australian woman over the weekend. Minneapolis authorities will only say that the officers were responding to a 911 call about a possible assault when the woman was shot.

Authorities say a 27-year-old man is still missing after flash flood in central Arizona that killed other 9 people. The rushing water came Saturday as people were cooling off in a creek¹ in the Tonto National Forest.

A Jordanian soldier was convicted and sentenced to life in prison with hard labor² for the shooting deaths of three US military trainers. The three US Army Green Berets were killed on November 4th, as their convoy³ waited at the gate to a Jordanian air base.

And a lucky couple is getting a honeymoon⁴ in Hawaii after getting engaged at the Garth Brooks⁵ concert over the weekend in Oklahoma City. The country singer got wind of commotion⁶. He told them if they'd decided⁷ to go to Hawaii, he and his wife Trisha Yearwood would pay for it.
