At least 17 people are known dead from Florida to Virginia in the aftermath of hurricane Michael. More than 300,000 homes and businesses remained without power in Florida and Georgia Sunday.

A pilot is dead after a small plane crashed into a home in Payson, Arizona. No injuries were reported on the ground. The cause of the crash is under investigation⁶.
