President Trump¹ said in an interview he may use an executive order to deny citizenship² to babies born to non-citizens in the US. Legal scholars say only a constitutional amendment³ could make that change.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called President Trump's visit to Pittsburgh humbling⁴ and sad. Mr. Trump went to the synagogue where a gunman killed 11 people on Saturday. Some people welcomed Mr. Trump but others protested.

Indonesia's navy says it found a 72-foot object in the sea near Jakarta. It's suspected to be part of the Lion Air passenger plane that crashed Monday, killing⁵ 189 people.

Police in rural upstate, New York say a helicopter crash killed two utility workers and injured two others. The maintenance helicopter went down after it got caught on power lines near the Canadian border.
