Dallas police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of two police officers and a Home Depot¹ employee. Police captured the suspect after a high-speed chase.

An online post from the Toronto van attack suspect is raising the possibility that 25-year-old Alek Minassian held grudges² against women. He is charged with first degree murder in deaths of 10 pedestrians³.

Republican Debbie Lesko has won the special election for an open House seat in Arizona. The margin⁴ of victory was about 5 percentage points in a district that President Trump⁵ won by 21 points back in 2016.

And President Trump hosted French President Emmanuel Macron in his first state dinner since taking office. Macron toasted what he called the unbreakable friendship between two countries.
