The Justice Department says it will keep looking for legal grounds to put the citizenship¹ question on the 2020 census² hours after President Donald Trump³ said he is "very seriously" considering an executive order to get that question on the form.

Authorities say the body of Mackenzie Lueck, the Utah college student who disappeared in June, has been recovered in a canyon⁴ about 85 miles from where police say other remains⁵ were found last week. 31-year-old Ayoola Ajayi is being held in the case with formal charges expected next week.

US job growth rebounded⁶ in June as employers added 224,000 jobs, an indication of the economy's continued durability⁷ after more than a decade of expansion. The unemployment rate ticked up slightly as more people began searching for work.

Chicago's Shedd Aquarium⁸ is celebrating the arrival of a brand new baby beluga, its first beluga calf⁹ in seven years. The aquarium says the mother and calf are both doing well, but not yet on public display.
