Whether¹...or not 不管是否……

【用法透视】

"Whether... or not"除了可以表示“是否”之意，还可以引导让步状语从句，表示“不管是否……”。

【支持范例】

1. We'll go on with the work, whether we can find the necessary² tools³ or not.

我们会继续这件工作不管能否找到必须的工具。

2. I show everything on my face, whether I am angry or pleased⁴.

2 necessary
