House Republican leaders today send President Obama what they are calling a "bold counter-offer" end up heading of severe spending cuts that across the board tax increases on January 1st. As NPR's David Welna explains the White House has already rejected the GOP's proposal.

President Obama is taking Israel [attacks] to the plan construction of new settlements in the West Bank. State department today saying such plans are specially28 damaging the prospects29, for resumption that was really Palestinians peace talks. Israel Friday announced plans to build 3000 settler homes in the West Bank and east Jerusalem on territory the Palestinians have claimed that was theirs to punished Palestinians []? a recognition. The coauthor of the best-selling book "Three Cups of Tea" has died in an apparent suicide. David Oliver Relin cowrote the 2006 memoir31 with Greg Mortenson about building schools in Afghanistan. As NPR's Neda Ulaby reports he died November 15th at Portland, Oregon at the age of 49.
Relin had apparently32 suffered from depression [while coping with the follow..]? after parts of "Three Cups of Tea" were exposed as fraudulent on the CPS News Shows 16 Minutes last year. He hired a lawyer to protect himself against the federal lawsuit33. The authors and publishers were accused to deceiving readers to boost sales and donations. Relin have long published heart-warming stories for magazines such as []. They are often focused on children set in the developing world. Details of Relin's death has not yet been made public. Presidents of rain worry California aren't going to get much of a break. The national weather services says after series of wit windy storms, more bad weathers are on the way.
