　　From NPR News in Washington.President Obama has presented the nation's highest honor this afternoon to a former army staff sergeant¹, who defended remote outpost in Afghanistan against Taliban attack. NPR Sky Holsley reports Clinton Romesha with praise for his heroism² under fire.

 

　　U.S. forces and combat outpost killing³ were outnumbered and surrounded when the Taliban attacked in 2009. But the U.S. troops ford⁴ off the insurgence⁵, led by staff sergeant Clinton Romesha. 8 American soldiers died in the attack. President Obama says that Romesha ever helped saved the lives of more than 40 others. I called Clinton solemnly that he would receive this medal.
