小狐外传 第67期:录像带

 They were up to no good.

他们很淘气。

"Catch that fox!" they cried.

“抓住那只狐狸！”他们叫道。

And Fox tore away.

小狐逃跑了。

In the park Fox saw Officer Tom smooching with his girlfriend.

在公园小狐看到汤姆警官正在跟他的女朋友亲吻。

"Nice shot¹!" said Fox.

“精彩的抓拍！”小狐说。

"You'll be sorry!" cried Officer Tom.

“你会后悔的！”汤姆警官喊道。

But Fox got away.

但小狐已经溜走了。

Fox went to the hospital to show Grannie his new video.

小狐去医院给奶奶展示他新拍的录像带。

But Grannie and Louise were already watching one.

但奶奶跟露易丝已经再看录像带了。

"This is Fox flossing his teeth," said Louise.

“这是小狐在用牙线清洁牙齿，”露易丝说。

"Wow!" said Grannie.

“哇!”奶奶说。

"Don't watch that!" cried Fox. "It's dumb²!"

“不要看那个！”小狐喊道，“很无聊的！”

"What do you know?" said Grannie. "We just love it."

At Fox's house some folks³ were waiting.

小狐家门前有一群人在等着。

"That's him!" cried Mrs. O'Hara.

“就是他！”奥哈拉太太大喊。

Maybe they don't like being movie stars, thought Fox.

也许他们不想当电影明星呢，

And he went inside to face the music.

小狐想着走进去面对即将到来的后果。
