Millions of people in the United States are scrambling² for tickets to enter one of the world's biggest-ever lottery draws.

Shops in seven eastern states have been besieged³ by customers desperate to buy a ticket for the prize - which could be as much as $350m.

The odds⁴ of winning are put at 76 million to one, what means that it is almost as likely as being hit by lightning twice on the same day.
