The famous French spiderman adds Malaysia's Twin Towers to his climbing accomplishments1. He used the protection of pre-dawn darkness to elude2 security guards. After two previous attempts failed, Alain Robert successfully climbed the world's tallest twin towers - the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 47-year-old climbed with his bare hands and without ropes.
"With the due respect to Malaysia, I came to, to finish something I, you know I did try twice to climb the Petronas, Tower One, Tower Two. And then I have failed as I get caught in the 60th. So actually, you know, climbing the Petronas all the way to the top is one of my dream. And maybe because I am having the motivation, maybe also I am a little bit stubborn."
Roberts reached the 88th floor, then climbed the pinnacle3 to the very top of the tower in about two hours and fifteen minutes.
