 Struck by police and the association of a few police officers, they’re advising motorists not to travel. I’m in central Scotland today between 12 and 9 pm that’s when the worst of the winds expected to hear. Bridges have been closed there. They’re asking bridge force breach¹ on tear bridge with a gust² up to 80, 85 miles an hour. They have all been closed. Hundreds schools, hundreds of schools I see closed as are colleges and universities. There’re problems elsewhere was travels, not just motorists affected³. Train, the train services are disrupted, trains have been limited. To a logic⁴ sense, many of them to 50 miles an hour because of the danger of fallen trees are lying and so on. So a fair degree of the disruption. I’m joined by David who’s a head teacher here Dundas Vale primary. David, tell me how your day has been affected. 

 

"It's been an unusual day, we have to inform parents by as I said at the gate this morning and by parent mail that’s the school be closed a day. So that’s been quite a lot well for the senior managers this morning. 

 

Kids being hold. You have to bring them back in. 

 

"Children are out for a short time and play time. I was in the school said me hitter. So we had to bring them quickly. Yes."

 

What do you think of the opens surviving to make the arrangements and in the western alarms, for example. The schools are open for the rest of today? Do you think somebody has the pulling batten too soon?
